SolaraGem is a hand-built assembly of specially selected crystals, gemstones, and color filters. These are specific mixtures based on a primary gemstone which in most cases provides the name of that particular model. Seven models are currently available: 

Amethyst * Rose Quartz * Emerald * Carnelian * Sapphire * Ruby * Citrine

SolaraGem is designed to attach magnetically to a readily available camera light called the Lume Cube 2.0. This light is designed to simulate daytime sunlight. It has a built-in rechargeable battery which will run up to 24 hours on a charge when used at the recommended 10% intensity level. It can also be controlled by a phone app which allows access to additional settings. 

The Lume Cube 2.0 light source is designed to attach to any standard (1/4" 20 thread) camera mount, of which there are hundreds to choose from. This allows the end-user to choose something that works best for them and the space they have available. You'll see examples of just a few of the ways you can easily mount the system throughout the website.

This setup not only keeps the cost of the system down, but it also provides for maximum flexibility. The other units on the market are much larger and bulkier and require power hookup for general use. Being able to use SolaraGem anywhere, in any type of space, is a benefit that will be hard to appreciate for those who haven't used earlier systems.
