We’ve done the hard work, so you don’t have to.

My quick guide to purchasing your CBD. Let’s remove the stress from the process!

There is a lot of conversation when it comes to CBD and whilst the benefits of CBD are plentiful, not all CBD is born the same.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is fast becoming a huge industry, which means it can become overwhelming when you’re trying to sift through all of the readily available information!

I break down my 5 full proof methods to identifying a good quality CBD and what you should be looking for before you buy.

1.    CHECK THE INGREDIENTS

Make sure your CBD isn’t mixed with any nasty additives, such as pesticides or chemicals.

The only additions to your CBD should be healthy for the body, such as vitamins and minerals.

My Dr. Alex Loyd Quantum CBD is full-spectrum, which means it contains the essence of the entire plant- such as additional cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids, which help to magnify the effectiveness of your results.

Our product also contains omega-3 fatty acids, B vitamins, iron, calcium, all 20 essential amino acids, zinc, magnesium, and potassium, as well as 35 healing botanicals.

2.    CHECK YOUR CONCENTRATION

CBD can be watered down.

One way to identify dilution is the addition of carrier oils. Carrier oils are base oils used to dilute oils down and help carry them into the skin.

The concentration of CBD varies from product to product, however, anything between 250mg and 1,000mg per fluid once is a sign of good CBD concentration.

3.    CHECK FOR THC

THC is the psychoactive component found in cannabis that induces a high.

The CBD extraction process means it should have little to no THC in it but will maintain the benefits of cannabinoids.

Make sure your product is sourced directly from the hemp plant; this means there will be virtually no THC and, therefore, no sneaky side effects!

We filter out any remaining THC we find during the process of making our CBD.

Our lab tests have proven our product contains no THC at all.

4.    CHECK THE ABSORPTION RATE

Many CBD products on the market are only 6 percent absorbable, according to New York University.

When it comes to CBD, as much as 94 percent can go to waste!

Try to find out how your CBD is made. For example, nanotechnology[1] breaks down large lipid balls of cannabinoids to a molecular level.

When this happens, cannabinoids are in a bioactive state and CBD can be absorbed much more effectively- as much as 1,500 percent!

Another way to increase absorption is if the CBD is water-soluble.

Whilst oral CBD tends to be the most popular way to consume the product, it is also the least effective and absorbable.

Fat-soluble products (most CBDs) don’t dissolve in water, meaning we are unable to absorb them in the bloodstream. [2]

Therefore, water-soluble products absorb much faster and more easily.

5.    CHECK YOUR SOURCES

CBD can come from marijuana or hemp.

Hemp contains only 0.3 percent of THC; hemp-derived CBD is currently legal in all 50 states, which can help you to determine if your CBD is legal where you live.

Our Dr. Alex Loyd Quantum CBD is full-spectrum, water-soluble AND uses nanotechnology, meaning it is 20x more effective.
