Do you want to send positive thoughts to a loved one but don’t know where to start?

I am here to help!

If someone you love is sick, going through a hard time, or needs an emotional boost, prayer and healing thoughts are brilliant ways to send love and positivity to someone you care about.

I discuss how positive thoughts work, why they are important, and how you can get started!

THE POWER OF THE MIND

Did you know positive thoughts are more than just thoughts?

Studies suggest that the thoughts we send to others can have both a physical and emotional impact on wellbeing.

In my article How Healing Thoughts Work, I discuss two studies in particular which show us the power of the mind-body connection.

In one case, Larry Dossey, M.D.,[1] discussed how prayer can speed up healing and recovery in others.

He cited many studies in his work, one of which was compelling evidence showing how prayer manifests as healing in laboratory experiments!

In physics, the action at a distance theory is a concept that objects can affect each other without being near or touching; it has also been referred to as entanglement, meaning a particle can ‘know’ something about another from miles away.

There is also compelling evidence to suggest that spirituality and religious beliefs can positively impact our ability to cope, as well as providing comfort and improving mental and physical health (alongside traditional medicine.)[2]

Quantum physics has taught us that everything is energy, and our mind-body connection gives us the ability to connect with other energetic fields to promote healing.

WHY SHOULD WE SEND GOOD INTENTIONS?

With a growing body of research to indicate that we can connect to others through the mind, why wouldn’t we?

Sending healing is a powerful and widely accessible way to help others who are in need.

As recently as February 2021, Harvard’s Making Caring Common Project reported that the global pandemic had ‘deepened an epidemic of loneliness’, with approximately 36 percent of all Americans feeling ‘serious loneliness.

Positive thoughts are a quick and easy way to do our bit to help.

TIPS ON SENDING POSITIVITY

Here are some quick tips on how to send positive thoughts to others.

INTENTION SETTING

Be clear on who, why, and how you would like to help.

Being specific with your intention helps to send a clear signal to the other person, but also helps you to understand why you are sending it.

Ask yourself- what is your motivation?

INCREASE YOUR VIBRATION

Positive thoughts and mindset can help to increase your energetic vibration.

Remember, our very cells are made up of energy!

Our body reacts to energetic frequencies directly; our vibrations can be raised or decreased.

PRAY

If you are comfortable doing so, sending prayer is the perfect way to pass on positive and healing thoughts to others.

SEND A POSITIVE AFFIRMATION

If you are uncomfortable praying, simply sending a positive sentence or two in your mind, or writing it down, can be an effective way to send good energy.

Remember, sending love and prayer to those most important to us is one of the kindest acts of service we can provide.

Have a blessed, wonderful day!
